It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the United States of America.
As friends and allies, the United States and Luxembourg have always maintained close and cordial relations, and have remained side by side in the hard times as well as in the good ones. As founders of international institutions such as the Atlantic Alliance and the United Nations, we are both committed in working together along with our European partners to face the many challenges of the twenty first century to achieve peace, development and the respect of human rights.
Furthermore, the historical ties that bring together our two countries have been further strengthened by the development of trade and business. Indeed, our location at the heart of the European Union, our excellent political, economic and social stability, has enabled us to become a prime location for American tourists and investments.
