Henley & Partners have released their ranking of the most powerful passports in the world for 2021, noting that temporary travel restrictions due to Covid-19 were not taken into consideration.
Luxembourg is in the fourth position, with visa-free access to 188 countries — a spot it shares with Italy, Finland, and Spain.
The Passport Index used by Henley & Partners is based on data provided by the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) and takes into account 199 passports and 227 travel destinations. It is updated according to visa policy changes.
