Emergency Assistance
A passport was lost or stolen
- Contact the nearest police station and request a report on the loss or theft of the passport.
- Either apply for a new passport for those who do not need to travel or request a “Laissez-passer” or ETD (Emergency Travel Document) from the nearest consulate for those who need to travel back to Luxembourg.

Documentation to be provided:
- Police report on the loss/theft of the document;
- Copies of lost/stolen identity documents, if applicable;
- Another piece of identification in his/her possession, if applicable.
