European Union Short Film Festival goes online

The popular European Union Short Film Festival, a trip across Europe with 22 short films from 22 countries, is moving online from May 14-21. Now in its seventh year, this free event features a diverse collection of short films from across the EU. The event features 22 films from 22 European Union Member States in three thematic programs: Well, Adjusted, All You Need Is Love, and Time Being Time Passing.

The Festival is a collaborative effort between the Canadian Film Institute, the embassies of EU Member States and the European Union National Institutes for Culture. Previously held at the Arts Court in Ottawa, the event consistently played to a packed house.

The 7th EUSFF is presented from May 14 to May 21 in partnership with The Cinematheque in Vancouver and the Cinematheque of the Winnipeg Film Group.

Complimentary tickets are available on the Canadian Film Institute website www.cfi-icf.ca/eushorts
