The global entertainment service Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to the Luxembourg crime drama series 'Capitani', which will be available on the streaming platform on 11 February 2021.
The TV show follows detective Luc Capitani, who heads up to a rural village in the north of Luxembourg, to investigate the suspicious death of a young girl. The detective finds himself having trouble navigating the closed and protective mentality of the local community. In hunting a murderer, Capitani is forced to confront his own demons as he discovers the shocking truth.
Co-produced by Samsa Film with the support of Film Fund Luxembourg, the show is directed by Christopher Wagner, and stars Luxembourg actors Luc Schiltz, Sophie Mousel, Désirée Nosbusch and Marc Limpach.
