First Cyber Defense Strategy for Luxembourg

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, François Bausch, unveiled today Luxembourg’s inaugural Cyber Defense Strategy, which lays the foundation for the development of cyber defense capabilities that can be used in a national and international context.

The 10-year long-term strategy builds on the National Cybersecurity Strategy and aims to enhance the resilience of Luxembourg Defense by protecting its assets and capabilities from malicious cyber activities. Emphasis is placed on upskilling the workforce, enhancing national resilience in cyberspace, supporting private sector capability, honoring our NATO and EU commitments and strengthening the engagement with Allies and partners.
