At a virtual ceremony, Ambassador Gaston Stronck, together with Ms. Peggy Frantzen, Deputy Head of Mission, and Mr. Stan Myck, Consul, awarded today the medal of “Officier de l’Ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg” to Mr. Jean-Claude Drui, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Hawaii, in recognition of his devoted services at the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis in 2020. Mr. Drui helped numerous Luxembourgers, confined on cruise ships, to find ways and means to fly back home.
