Marie-Louise Rouff offers one of her paintings to the Embassy

Mr. Michael Pastreich presented today the Embassy of Luxembourg in Washington DC with a painting. The artwork, Ochre Place, is a piece from his mother’s collection, Luxembourgish artist Marie-Louise Rouff.

About the artist

Marie-Louise Rouff grew up in Luxembourg. Inspired by her father’s pencil drawings, Marie-Louise began to paint from a young age. Rouff’s work has been exhibited in the United States and Europe. She is represented by galleries in Los Angeles, California and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Her paintings and monotypes figure in a number of corporate and private collections. Some of her work has been purchased by the State Museum of Luxembourg.
