The University of Luxembourg has announced the availability of scholarships for students from the United States and Canada who would like to spend one or two semesters at the University during the academic year 2021-22.
This scholarship program is sponsored by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and consists of a monthly allowance of 500 euros (for a duration of 5 or 10 months per academic year) as well as free accommodation in a student residence for the duration of the exchange.
Available study programs
The scholarship is available for candidates in any Bachelor’s or Master’s programs open to exchange students at the University of Luxembourg.

Please note that the enrolment fees (400 euros per semester during the first year of studies, 200 euros per semester during semesters 3 to 6) are not waived for scholarship holders.
Application procedure
Step 1. All incoming exchange students must be nominated by their home university via the Partner Portal. The deadline for this is April 15, 2021.
Step 2. All incoming exchange students must submit their application via the Student Portal by May 15, 2021.
Step 3. If the application is approved, the applicant will receive a Letter of Admission and a Learning Agreement signed by the University.
Step 4. The exchange student must apply for a Temporary Authorization to Stay (AST) upon receiving the Letter of Admission.
