Luxembourg celebrates the French language

If you love and master the French language, join the Luxembourg Embassy and Consulates Generals in the United States throughout the month of March for a series of events in the framework of the Mois de la Francophonie.

The Embassy in Washington DC will present a virtual event with Paul Schmit, author of An Outstanding Luxembourg Diplomat, discussing how his book came about and what was the inspiration behind this journey through history. The event premiers on March 3, 2022 at 12 pm and will be available for viewing at your convenience thereafter.

A special “Celebrate Francophonie” online screening (March 4-9) of the award winning film “Two of us” (DEUX - le film) will be co-hosted by the Consulate General of Luxembourg in San Francisco and other partners.

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, join the 5^th edition of the Poetry Night, a relaxed evening dedicated to poems from around the French-speaking world, including the Luxembourg award winning author Anne Schmitt, who will read two of her pieces.

On March 25, 2022, the Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York will present “Cabaret français: A Tribute to French Chansons”, an entertaining and elegant soirée starring the Luxembourg performer Adrienne Haan. This event is by invitation only.
