Luxembourg National Day 2025
This year’s National Day was particularly significant, as it marked the 25th anniversary of the reign of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke.
The celebrations brought together people from all walks of life: next to official events at the Luxembourg Philharmonie, a military parade and a Te Deum at the Notre-Dame Cathedral, concerts and festivities were hold all over the country. A highlight were the fireworks in Luxembourg-City on the eve of June 23.
The National Day is also an opportunity to reflect on the relationships with our partners and allies. We are particularly appreciative to Secretary Marco Rubio and the people of the United States for their kind words and steadfast friendship during Luxembourg National Day. We deeply value the enduring bond between our nations — forged through shared history, strengthened by economic cooperation, and upheld through our commitment to peace and security within the NATO Alliance. Together, we honor the past and look forward to a future of continued partnership and prosperity.
We also send our warmest wishes to the Luxembourg community living and working in the United States and thanking all those who have been tirelessly working to advance our bilateral relations.
