Prime Minister Luc Frieden in Boston

Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden visited Boston on 6 February, to deliver a keynote speech at the 12th annual European Conference at his alma mater, the Harvard Kennedy School. In his speech he presented his vision for a strong, united Europe, capable of decisive action within a rapidly evolving international landscape, while leveraging robust collaborations guided by shared principles.

In Boston, the Prime Minister also visited Harvard University’s Biodesign Lab. The visit highlighted projects focused on developing innovative technological solutions designed to improve daily mobility and independence for older people, as well as for patients with Parkinson’s disease or those who have suffered a stroke. These projects showcase academic excellence, applied innovation, and the commitment of young Luxembourgish talent working to develop concrete solutions to the challenges associated with ageing and neurological disorders.
