Elisabeth Margue attends FATF Ministerial Meeting in Washington

On Friday, 17 April 2026, Elisabeth Margue, Minister of Justice, took part in the ministerial meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, the ministers reaffirmed their strong and unwavering commitment to fully support the FATF in its role as the global standard-setting body for the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (AML/CFT/CPF).

They underscored their determination to tackle illicit finance through coordinated multilateral action within the FATF framework, while recognizing the organization’s vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the international financial system.
