Grand Duke Guillaume addresses the UN General Assembly

On 22 September 2026, HRH Grand Duke Guillaume delivered his first official address to the United Nations General Assembly since ascending to the throne in October 2025, following in the footsteps of his father, Grand Duke Henri, who addressed the Assembly fourteen years earlier. In presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg’s Head of State reaffirmed the Grand Duchy's firm and unyielding commitment to multilateralism and international law.
